Instead, what Innes and Perry discover is that the earth's crust is only 500 miles thick and that the inner surface is inhabited. Features an original dust jacket by Bob Eggleton, illustrated endpapers by Sanjulian, 22 tipped in color plates and 89 b&w illustrations by artist like Frazetta, Stout, McCaig, St. John, Krenkel, etc. This edition is limited to 648 numbered sets signed by the contributors including William Stout.
